The Tokyo tax office puts the Kuroyume (黒夢) (黒夢) trademark on auction due to unpaid tax issues with Kiyoharu's own management company. The trademark gets sold for 681,000 Japanese Yen, and the band is forced to either disband or change name.

Kuroyume (黒夢) is an active visual kei band in Nagoya. They are part of the Nagoya kei and soft visual subgenres. They have been active since 1991.
I really need to stop trusting the artist descriptions on Apple Music, they made it sound like Kuroyume hadn't played live since 2009. 💀 The descriptions for vkei bands are also never written by people who really know what they're talking about or respect vkei, like referring to a band that early on had Showa kayou kei visuals as having "gothy visual kei pretentiousness". 😭
So sad that Apple Music only has their work from 1995 to like 2003. T-T Gives me an excuse to find their cds at least haha. Mao (and the other members but specifically Mao) of SID (シド) have said they were super super influenced by Kuroyume, - well that's not surprising with how influential they were on the scene as a whole- I just find it fun to hear to what your fav bands listened to. :>

I am incredibly skeptical that they played in Bloomington, Indiana during their indies era, though I would love for it to be true. The only other source for this purported live I can find is their Japanese Wikipedia page, which itself cites no source for this claim. I would love to find more information about this.
