The band initially planned to continue with a new vocalist—and announced in August 2000 that a new vocalist had joined and that they were changing their name to BAD SiX BABiES. At some point, however, BAD SiX BABiES was retroactively considered a new band rather than a continuation of THE SLUT BANKS. As a result, the band is retroactively considered to have disbanded in July.
