Dragon Ash release their fifth single “Grateful Days”, which shows the band transition into being a full-fledged hip hop act. It ends up being a tremendous success for the group, topping the Oricon charts, being their first release to do so.
Dragon Ash release their third full length album “Viva La Revolution” which, thanks in large part to the strong success of “Grateful Days”, tops the Oricon charts and becomes the 13th best selling album of the year and sells over 2 million copies, becoming their best-selling album to date.
