GRASS DEAD FLICKERS (グラスデッドフリッカーズ) is formed.

By late 1986, everyone besides JOE leaves the group. The band then gets a totally new lineup, and changes their name to G.D.FLICKERS.
G.D.FLICKERS signs to Captain Records.
Ba. EMO leaves, and SATOSHI joins.
G.D.FLICKERS becomes a major act and signs to Invitation, a sublabel of Toshiba/EMI.
HARA-chan changes his name to HARA.
Ba. SATOSHI leaves, and Support Ba. CRAZY COOL JOE joins.

Ba. RANDY officially joins.
G.D.FLICKERS leave Invitation, and instead sign to Kitty Records.
RANDY leaves.

G.D.FLICKERS are dropped from Kitty Records. They then become an indies band for the first time in 9 years.

MARRY passes away from a car crash, aged 34.
