COLOR (カラー) forms in Kansai (関西)関西.
First live is held on an unknown date at Hirakata (枚方) BLOW DOWN (ブロウダウン).
Several member changes occur around this time.
First, vocalist IKU, bassist BELL, and drummer HIDE presumably secede very early on.
Then, then-16-year-old TATSUYA auditions and joins as guitarist. Impressed with TATSUYA's guitar skill, guitarist DYNAMITE TOMMY switches to vocals.
Afterward, secondary guitarist CINDY, bassist IKUO, and drummer HIDEKI join.
Sometime later, bassist IKUO and drummer HIDEKI secede and are replaced by an unknown bassist and new drummer TAKAHASHI, respectively.

Drummer TAKAHASHI secedes, and is replaced by TOSHI.

Bassist REMMY secedes and is replaced by MARRY (who is recruited “due to his pretty boy looks”).

COLOR makes their major debut through NIPPON CROWN (日本クラウン) sublabel Arise.
A fan is crushed and passes away during one of the band's lives. The group goes on a four month hiatus from touring as a result.
COLOR pauses live activity.
COLOR resume live activities.
Presumably due to the controversy over the fan passing away a year earlier, the band is officially dropped from Arise.
The band attempts to break into the Western music scene and uses the alias GALAXY for their European activity. Around this time they also change their sound to more of a house/club sound.
COLOR vs. Red Tail Cat coupling tour, "GALAXY AT INTERZONE", begins.
"SAMMY and LUCY" live is held.

The participates in the BEHIND THE MASK Event. Although not planned at the time, this would become the band's last live.
It is revealed in J-ROCK that, after two years of inactivity, the band has officially broken up.
COLOR disbands
Bassist MARRY passes away in a motor vehicle accident.
One-day revival and memorial for bassist MARRY is held. Vocalist DYNAMITE TOMMY proclaims that COLOR will never revive or perform again.
Former roadie DEN acts as support bassist.

Second memorial live for bassist MARRY is held. COLOR does not perform, but PETIT COLOR (プチCOLOR) (featuring guitarist CINDY, former bassist REMMY, and drummer TOSHI) debuts.
COLOR was a visual kei band in Kansai. They were part of the okeshou kei subgenre. They were active from 1985 to 1997 and are now disbanded.
