Laputa
Type
band
Status
disbanded
Active
1993~2004

One of the premier and most influential groups from the 90's Nagoya-kei scene, Laputa is one of the big names that still retains a cult following today due to their catchy and prolific discography. Their original sound as a 5-member band was very spooky, but gradually they became more poppy as their fame rose. Towards the latter third of their career, the band began experimenting with electronic rock and included a lot of trance elements into their music.
