WANDS becomes a major act and signs to TM FACTORY.
WANDS release their third single "もっと強く抱きしめたなら", which becomes their first single to top the Oricon charts, and sells over a million copies.

Thanks to the success of its accompanying singles, including "もっと強く抱きしめたなら", WANDS's first full length album "時の扉" goes on to sell over 2 million copies, and became the second best selling album in Japan of 1993.
WANDS leave TM FACTORY, and sign to B-Gram RECORDS.
Vo. 上杉昇 and Gt. 柴崎浩 both leave.

Following slipping sales, WANDS disbands
After nearly 20 years, WANDS surprisingly reunites, with Gt. 柴崎浩 and Key. 大島康祐 returning.
Soon after announcing its revival, WANDS sign to D-GO, a sublabel of GIZA.
Key. 大島康祐 decides to become the producer of WANDS, and 木村真也 joins in his place.
Key. 木村真也 pauses activities.
