Viṣṇu (ヴィシュヌ) formed in April 1994 according to a 100 copies limited issue of Vi:lletté.
Note: Many sources spell this band's name as "Visun", but on a flyer for their last live, the actual spelling of their name is provided. There are also various photos with only three members, the band's member history is not entirely clear. Aside of Viṣṇu's demo tape Shinku (真紅), the following song titles were provided by seine for Viṣṇu and Masquerade: neo-nazis, Kaze no nai tokoro e (風の無い処へ), sabbat, slave, ice, mania and end, they also had an unnamed ballad. It's unknown which songs belong to which band.

At some point, guitarist shuji is replaced by guitarists Airi (アイリ) and seine.

Guitarist Airi (アイリ) secedes by this time, and vocalist Yoma (殀磨) changes his name to Kyo (京).

Three-man with EL:cid and SENSUALE is held at Kyoto MUSE HALL. The band makes an important announcement: Rei (麗) will secede and they will continue under a different name.
