Part of a series of tribute omnibus albums produced by music shop Third Stage to celebrate the music shop's 10th anniversary. Each volume featured one or more current visual kei bands covering indie visual kei bands from the early 1990s.

This is the first volume in the series and features KISAKI PROJECT covering songs from Kuroyume (黒夢), MIRAGE, and La'cryma Christi.
Several editions of this volume were eventually released (each with a slightly different title). This is the first edition, which features a full-color wrap-around jacket, but no back cover. In 2007, publishing rights were transferred to 【kapparecords】 (a record label which was formed to handle rights after the closure of Third Stage). This edition (with the exact same title, jacket, and tracklist) was made available by 【kapparecords】 on streaming platforms from 2007-01-01.

A completely re-recorded second edition was released later in 2007. In 2009, publishing rights were transferred to BounDEE, at which time the first edition was removed from streaming platforms and replaced with the second edition.
For this release, the band used the name KISAKI PROJECT (as opposed to KISAKI PROJECT feat. XYZ). The lineup was:
- B. KISAKI (tracks 1~3)
- V. Jui (樹威) [VIDOLL] (track 1)
- V. AKIRA [ex-MIRAGE] (track 2)
- V. C・REI (C・レイ) [ex-ORGEL (オルゴール)] (track 3)
- G. Shinobu [ex-Zephyr] (tracks 1~3)
- G. Kyura (玖蘭) [ex-EzeːquL] (tracks 1~3)
- D. TERO (テロ) [VIDOLL] (track 1)
During the negotiating stage, several other songs were considered for the project:
- Race Dance or No imagination by SCARE CROW (the band that KISAKI roadied for in the 1990s)
- Setsudan (切断) by La:Sadie's (KISAKI's band prior to MIRAGE)
- KUMO ONNA NO KISS (クモオンナノキス) by Kneuklid Romance (a band whose revival would be supported by KISAKI through his label UNDER CODE PRODUCTION)
- METAMORPHOSE (メタモルフォーゼ) or S.E.A. by La'cryma Christi
- End of Love by SIAM SHADE
- Wind Whisper by MIRAGE (KISAKI's band prior to Syndrome)
- Saddist no Yume (Saddistの夢) by Laputa
SCARE CROW vocalist Izumi (いずみ) personally asked the president of Third Stage not to include his band's songs. The other songs were disallowed by the record labels that owned the publishing rights.

Chuuzetsu (中絶), however, was personally approved by Kuroyume (黒夢) vocalist KIYOHARU (清春). And although Wind Whisper by MIRAGE was approved for inclusion, Third Stage chose I.D instead, likely because that song had never received a studio recording.
