Yesterday, ZONBI (ぞんび) announced “disbandment.” Today, “new” band ZOMBIE announces formation.
Yesterday, just prior to the ZONBI ShiSU (ゾンビ死ス) tour final oneman at Akasaka (赤羽) ReNY alpha, ZONBI (ぞんび) suddenly announced that they would disband at the live.
But as speculated, this was not a true disbandment. The live was held today, and during it an important announcement was made: “new” band ZOMBIE has formed.
The “new” band, as you might already be thinking, is exactly the same as the old band--with the exception of new guitarist izuna. (Despite marketing themselves as a new band so far, their OHP still includes all of their past history and releases, so we'll be treating this as a name change.)
The band's “first” oneman live, ZOMBIE-Shinsei- (ZOMBIE-新生-), will be held at Ikebukuro (池袋) EDGE on 2020-02-24. Prior to that, a secret live will be held somewhere on 2020-01-25.
Their first full album will be released in April, and a single from that album, ZONBI ShiSU (ゾンビ死ス), will be released digitally tonight at 24:00 (JST).
