Ruvie was a visual kei band. They were part of the art kei subgenre. They were active from 2002 to 2008 and are now disbanded.

So it think the proper romanization may be Luvie rather than Ruvie
But releases such as this explicitly seem to use "Ruvie"? \
I think the person is suggesting that it was romanized with an L when the band was still using hiragana, and then changed to R when they changed their name. However their very first OHP uses "ruru6969" so I'm undecided. Maybe if we can find an old email address or something?
That makes sense. I was thinking that they would have been consistent throughout the years, but yeah nah, this is VK. Guess it is as you say -- we probably need more data?
