MATENROU OPERA (摩天楼オペラ) (マテンロウオペラ) forms by Sono (苑) and Yuu (悠) in Kanto (関東)関東.
Although vocalist Sono (苑) is sometimes listed as a member of King Back, that is a misunderstanding due to that band also having a vocalist named Sono. The two are unrelated.

The band makes several important announcements: they have joined a label, Mika (未伽) and Karen (華蓮) will secede due to difference in musical direction, and new members will join January.
The band mentions on their OHP that their December 8th live, which is to be their last of the year, will be performed without support members, and would then be dormant until returning with new members in January 2008. Despite this plan, they would ultimately gain two new members and perform a few extra lives in the latter half of December.
Guitarist Mika (未伽) and keyboardist Karen (華蓮) secede.
The join date of Anzi and Ayame (彩雨) is somewhat murky: the were announced via the band's website on December 13th (despite the band previously stating that they would not gain new members until January). Most official bios state that the two joined on December 23rd (the first time they performed live with the band). Other official biographies list them as having joined on January 1st (likely in reference to the original plan).
Guitarist Anzi and keyboardist Ayame (彩雨) join.
