BLINDFOLD
Just another leap of faith in blindness
Words that echo hypocritical kindness
Nothing true can be born from your madness
You fill me up with lies and whisper words of love to my ear
Just another way to break my heart
(Just take it)
I was just a puppet playing my part
(Just break it)
It should have been way too hard
(It is for you)
But it was too easy
Use me the way you feel
Kill me just for the sake of love
Blindfolded by the sweet dreams
Those dreams that haunt me
Till the day I die
I made the crucial mistake of complete trust
In your arms my life just turned into dust
I was overpowered by your sweet lust
When you were done with me you threw me out
to wither away...
Use me the way you feel
Kill me just for the sake of love
Blindfolded by the sweet dreams
Those dreams that haunt me
Till the day I die
Blinded by your scorching flame
No-one can take my pain away
I lost this fight in your name
Still your lips will make me stay with you
Use me the way you feel
Kill me just for the sake of love
Blindfolded by the sweet dreams
Those dreams that haunt me
Till the day I die
And all those feelings
So hard to deny
They won't go away
Even if I try
