  • Production, music, drums, piano: Soan [ex-Moran]
  • Lyrics, vocals: Temari [ex-amber gris]
  • Acoustic guitar: Takeki (健希) [Bräymen]
  • Acoustic guitar, erhu, chorus: Yuuya (祐弥) [DuelJewel]
  • Violin: Sachi [Kokusyoku Sumire (黒色すみれ)]

Temari's gentle voice opened the show with words that painted a cold scene: one who purposely forgets memories to avoid pain.

Temari

Temari

From this frozen stage, the tiny warmth from Temari's gentle breath flowed out to us as the slowly-moving Shousou no Hibi no Tobari, Shousuisuru SNOW WHITE (焦燥の日々の帷、憔悴する白雪姫) began. Our hearts trembled as his out-reached hand transferred the slightest of warmth from his fingertips to us in the audience.

Temari and Takeki

“Today's show acts as revenge for the cancelled performance; we're Avengers of the visual world,” said Temari during his MC. “Soan's two projects are competing with each other on this stage. He's facing both sides of himself, and this live will reaffirm the legacy of his project so far.”

Tekaki

Tekaki

“In the place where your hand resided until yesterday, there is no sun.” Sachi's violin resounded heartbreakingly as Soan Project with Temari began Toueisareta Arishi Hi no Shouzou to Iu Na no Bourei (投影された在りし日の肖像と云う名の亡霊). The acoustic guitar of Yuuya (祐弥) and Takeki (健希) filled up the space, Soan's piano hanging heavy over it, and Sachi's violin stabbing the body with sad tones. The emotional song saw Temari's chest tight and voice broken. It makes you want to fall deeper into an ugly world, beyond light or dark, no matter what awaits...。

Next was Sore wa Noroi to Dougigo no Tamashii no Kusari Eien ni Tsuzuku Shukufuku to Iu Na no KARMA (それは呪いと同義語の魂の鎖 永遠に続く祝福と云う名のカルマ), a song which finds the cracks in a rocky, closed-off heart, and stuffs new, sad colors into them. In the next song, Ringo no Hana no Nioi to Kiokuya ni Naizaisuru Sonzai。 (林檎の花の匂いと記憶野に内在する存在。), Temari gave the impression of a lone person living in the wilderness. Someone alone in a cold existence, but whose presence roots them to the earth and gradually spreads warmth out to it.

Next, sad piano played by Soan, its slow reverberation cut through by acoustic guitar: Seihi no Soui, Arui wa Rigai no Fuicchi (正否の相違、或いは利害の不一致). Yuuya (祐弥) and Takeki (健希), who had been sitting, raise; and Soan starts drumming, giving live to a bubbling emotion that touches the audience. Following the applause from the last song, spanish guitar, passionate violin, and drums start to move. The boiling song Kanjou wo Baikaitoshite Gushoukasuru Kanshou no Ikuate (感情を媒介として具象化する感傷の逝く宛) was next—an onslaught of stringed instruments that left our hearts burning.

The next song, Shuuakunaru Kemono Ugatsuya, Chishi wo Motte Yahi wo Hofuru (醜悪なる獣穿つ矢、致死を以て野卑を屠る), began with a yell from Temari, and had the audience pumping their fists and screaming back. The audience was boiling, and this was kept up by Tojou, Shitajou, Nettaiya (吐情、舌上、熱帯夜), which had everyone shaking and dancing to the hot, moving rhythm.

“On this day, Soan-san faces himself, and it will help him move toward the future. Light will come from this place. Until the next hydrangea blooms...” Ajisai ga mata Saku Koro ni (紫陽花がまた咲く頃に) began. The band had created a cold world on stage and then filled it with heat, and this song was even more passionate than usual. They left our heads swirling with thoughts, and seem to have stepped into a new phase. Our hearts were delighted.

After the first half ended, the empty stage felt cold again, as if a strong wind were blowing across it. From here, the baton was passed to Soan Project with Akuta (Soanプロジェクトwith芥); one-by-one the members appeared on stage, each one of them implanting it with heat.

Soan

Soan

This live started with meteo trive. An echoing whistle preceded a driving beat and a “come on!!” from Soan. Heat immediately spread from the members out into the hall, and the audience flailed their heads, erasing the emotion from the previous set. Into the next song, Kuchiki no Yukue (朽ち木の行方), evoked a feeling of unnatural wildness. The audience gloriously jumped and moved in unison.

Shun's cutting guitar bursts led into Hedatsu Kyokou Tsumugu Shinjitsu to Doukei (隔つ虚構紡ぐ真実と憧憬). In response to Akuta's provocation, the audience raised their voices. Dazzling light acted as flames, pouring more heat into the audience. The guitar solo was impressive, and Akuta kept us screaming all throughout, as if we were screaming out our feelings.

Next was Nigotta Hitomi (濁った瞳が), a fiery, emotional song that expels all emotions during the hook. “Let me hear you!!” shouted Akuta. During next song PARADOX (パラドクス), the audience screamed out and turned their grief into enthusiasm. Painful emotions were expelled, and the musicians played enthusiastically. Everyone melted together in one hot emotion. Soan and Akuta kept the feeling going by yelling “tobe tobe tobe tobe!” to the audience, getting them to clap loudly and get enthusiastic for Usubeni wa Maichiri Jakkou ni Kieru (薄紅は舞い散り寂光に消える). The audience moshed.

As if dropping to the bottom of an abyss, and then suddenly raging hard, undelete began, wiping away feelings from the audience and replacing them with an intermingling of decay and hot enthusiasm. Fists rose from the floor, guided by Akuta, and the stage was dazzling. Next, beautiful piano bled through the floor, beginning arrive, which blew the audience with force. “Tobe tobe!” again yelled Soan, and the audience rose their voices in response. Everyone was swaying and jumping, as if we all had wings flapping on the spot.

Another fiery, furious song, hysteria show time was next. “Saa, let's peel off our nature!” yelled Akuta, and the audience was bouncing left to right, swinging their heads, raising their voices, and punching the air.

Lastly, Ajisai ga Mata Saku Koro n (紫陽花がまた咲く頃に) was up. “This setlist is different from the one planned for September, and I think we've been able to surpass the regretful feelings of that day. This battle between Soan Project with Temari and Soan Project with Akuta has proven both of us.” This emotional song embraced the past with enthusiasm, ending the show. In this song which both projects had played, they seemed to extend toward each other, acknowledging one another and incorporating together. Through one artist, Soan, two musics were mixed, and we could all clearly feel that on the floor.

Afterward, the members gathered together once more. “In a matter of three years, this revenge performance will be my treasure. I think I was able to show my heart today,” said Soan. Then started Soukyoku no Odoriko ~Sanshisuimei no Utage~ (躁狂の踊り子~山紫水明の宴~) as an encore. Akuta had the audience swinging their towels and moshing around the floor. “Go mad!!” The audience was grinning and going crazy; rules were irrelevant, and the freedom immeniating from the stage was the only thing important. The show closed up with that hot, irrational emotion.

Lastly, a word from Soan: “Our 3rd anniversary is approaching, and I'll improve myself every day.” Continuing with their anniversary show at Takadanobaba (高田馬場) AREA on June 1~2, Soan Project will walk toward the future.
