SHAZNA announces new singles, events, and more!

SHAZNA have recently shared a lot of big news. Since the band restarted activities back in 2023, the band has held many sold-out events and even released a new album.

To keep the momentum going, the band has announced that they will be releasing 6 consecutive monthly singles, starting in July. While we don't have many details yet, it is a welcome change to see them embracing a more "digital-first" mindset so their works are more accessible to a global audience.

Their last album, Sanka Mitsurugi (参華三釼), was released in 2024 through mail-order and at live shows. However, starting April 18th, the album has been available for streaming on platforms such as iTunes, Apple Music, TikTok, Amazon Music, and more (note: Spotify is not a supported platform, so they will not appear on April's monthly playlist. Sorry😔).

SHAZNA made their major debut 29 years ago. To celebrate, the band will be holding a special double-event on August 29th at Shibuya Pleasure Pleasure. Debut 29th Anniversary LIVE will be two performances on the same day, which, according to VisuNavi, will feature distinct setlists and visuals.

Later in the year, SHAZNA will produce a two-day event Utahime Kourin (歌姫降臨)~Beautiful Halloween Party Ⅲ~. Last year, they featured Moi dix Mois and ZIZ. This year, day 1 will feature MUCC and day 2 will features Yuki, KING, and BugLug. These events will take place on October 17th and 18th at Akabane ReNY alpha.

SHAZNA will also hold a twoman vs PENICILLIN at some point. Further details of 2 MAN LIVE 2026 are still unknown, so stay tuned for more.

Lastly, starting in November, SHAZNA will begin a "vs" series of twomans. These events will be held on November 28th, 29th, and December 13th. Who they will be playing against has not yet been announced.
