LAFFLESIA are a new band which opened their Twitter account a few days ago. While they don't have any lives announced just yet, they did share their lineup and that they would drop their first single on Christmas.

GOLDBERG Kyousoukyoku (ゴルトベルク狂奏曲) is a one-track digital single, which will be available for purchase through the band's OHP. Because they emphasized what credit cards are accepted, that leads me to believe it will not be available on streaming services to start, but that is speculation at this point.

Keen listeners may notice some similarities to LAREINE in the sample, and for good reason: LAFFLESIA's lead guitarist and main composer is MAYU!

MAYU even had a cute interaction with KAMIJO, who congratulated him on forming a new band.

LAFFLESIA also has a second LAREINE connection through vocalist MAYA. He was in BELLES, who was signed to APPLAUSE RECORDS in the early 2000's.
