dimlim has announced that they will disband on February 25th.

After a stall from activities due to the pandemic, the controversial ex-visual kei band came to the decision as discussions about future activities came to a head. It also appears that the new full album planned for this year has been changed to a best album; details on that will be announced at a later date.

The band will hold their last oneman live at Shibuya WOMB on February 25th. Before then, they will hold their last sponsored event, 「ANTHEM」, at Shibuya Club QUATTRO with acts such as SLOTHREAT and Sokoninaru (そこに鳴る) on January 30th.

We have decided to break up DIMLIM.

There are a lot of things to think about when the end comes for something we've bet everything on since June 2017.

I didn't know what to do and what not to do, but I decided to start DIMLIM for the first and last time in my life.

It was a place that really helped me grow.

It was the place that really made me grow up. I learned how to write songs, and people listened to them and said, "Cool!

That was the best feeling in my life.

It really saved me. Thank you so much for listening to DIMLIM's songs.

Your cheers were the most important driving force for me.

It was really muddy inside and a lot of things happened but DIMLIM is a cool and cool band until the end, so let me tell you with the sound until the end.

I think that the four and a half years of my life will remain in my life for 25 years.

It will never fade away in my life from now on.

Thank you very much.

It's been about three and a half years since I joined DIMLIM.

I have learned a lot about music and non-music things.

Thanks to everyone who has supported me, I have been able to perform on stage

Thanks to all of you who supported us, we were able to perform on stage and make many wonderful memories.

Thank you very much.

However, I wish I could have taken you to a better stage and shared more joy with you.

There are many promises that I could not fulfill.

I'm really, really sorry.

I know it's the same for all bands.

I think it's the same for all bands, but I couldn't find the right balance between the band and myself.

Maybe I was afraid of changing the part of myself that I cannot bend, the part that is at the core of me.

By not being able to change those parts, or the weak parts of myself that needed to be changed.

I think I have caused myself a lot of trouble.

I would like to thank all the fans who have supported us so far and all the people involved.

Thank you very much for thinking about DIMLIM and supporting us.

I will continue to face my music earnestly without forgetting my gratitude.

Thank you very much for your support until the end.
