-- Yesterday's question was who is UNDER CODE's long-term graphic designer? Well, if you have a UCP release lying around, just check the booklet—chances are that it was designed by AKI OKAMURA. Although not the only designer used by UCP, AKI is by far the most prolific. And not just UCP—even many old Matina releases are credited to AKI OKAMURA. Strangely, I've never found any information about AKI or his/her company KSI... So, mysterious Mr./Ms. AKI, thanks for your hard work!
The other options were all real designers: NAO OGAWA, of FLAT SPIDER DESIGN, is responsible for CindyKate (シンディケイト)'s most-recent single; Aire'F is responsible for both of Cu[be]'s singles (and maybe their awesome logo?); and lastly, MAYUMI SAKAI, of mayolabo is responsible for a handful of recent works (Arc's memorial releases, SUZAKU (朱)'s logo, etc.).

So true! I mean because they wear silly stuff its easy to forget that the poeple involved in this project are all A++++ musicians, I guess, but Kisakis non-dramatic compositions deserve more attention. He's not just ~eternalfragmentsofmentalsilenceafterconfessionof unrequittedloveTEARSWILLBETHERAINBOW~ ... and that. I think rames recorded voice sounds pretty neat btw.

That is a GREAT recommendation. I guess they seem like a joke band, but Kisaki & Kansai Kizoku actually have some really well-written songs. Really cool stuff full of neat vk tropes—I kind of wish KISAKI would unleash that side a little more often (or at least release a new Kizoku CD!).

I'm with you, that's a really great song! And if I'm not mistaken, that's the one that, at lives, the audience would spin towels around in the air. It looked so funnnnn.
I'm not even the kind of person to be bullshit-sentimental about famous people I don't know, but I still can't listen to HI like I used to. It feels really weird for some reason... Which is a shame because they had some really good songs.

While Cry... isn't my favorite song from that release, it (and the rest of the CD) is much better than most people gave it credit for. Let's be blunt: it's not Phantasmagoria. It clearly wasn't written for that band, even if KISAKI pretends otherwise. But as a Lin song, it's good!
(By the way, my absolutely favorite thing about that song is the bit that's censored out with static. That gets me off so hard for some reason, and is especially fun to sing to!)

A recommendation for an under appreciated UCP song? Let's see...
E'm~Grief~'s "Infinity Daze" is my absolute favorite song by them, but for some reason it's never their most popular song! I don't know if it's considered under appreciated just because it's by them (whom I happen to feel are under appreciated in general, but that's because of my compulsive tendencies to stan over them) or because it truly isn't recognized for how good it is.
Other "wow, I feel like I'm the only person on lastfm to listen to this song" songs include: Vidoll's "マユラ ピサロト" (this being from UCP's first ever release, yes?) , Mar'derayla's cover of Karen's "「flow～」," and Phantasmagoria's "Cry..."

Yeah, well, the reason I put that song there is because it isn't half bad (and is kind of the direction Rin appears to be going from time to time) and no one liked it because they had some pretty impossible expectations. Love the way Riku's voice cuts out a few times in the chorus.
