秋都 (Akito), 知 (Tomo), 絽希 (Roki), and 零也 (Reiya) are leaving chariots. That's right, 戮 (Riku) will be the only remaining member. The band's final tour with the current lineup, carnage opera, will take place from 2010-02-14 to 2010-02-27 throughout Japan.
The members have posted comments here (in Japanese) if anyone wants to read them. It seems that chariots will continue, for a while at least.

I'm yet another one of those people who tried my darndest to like Chariots but never could. There was just nothing special about them... now we know why. Hopefully these boys can move on and find something that suits them all better. I'm a former Pashya fan; I know Akito can really shine. I'm looking forward to his next project.
Good luck to Riku, he clearly has a vision if he's determined enough to carry on the name by himself!

This was loooongggg overdue. I'm a fan of Mebius, Ruephy, and Pashya, but chariots was hands down Akito least powerful band.
Dali, SIVA, hurts, Lamina, and brodiaea were all far better for a flagship band. Maybe Riku will actually make a good project this time. Not to sound negative but he could've done alot better.

I was never a big fan of Chariots so while this news is pretty sudden and sad I personally am not really all that upset by it. I always thought Riku could do better and wonder why KISAKI pushed so hard to make this band the poster child of UC when they never really seemed that special to begin with. Oh man I better shut my mouth now haha! Well I hope that Riku recruits new members or he forms a new band with a fresh new line up and concept. While this stuff always sucks and even though I'm not a fan at least if they all continue on with music, hopefully they'll all start something new and better. At least for the Chariots fans, that will be something for them to look forward too.

;_____; I remember seeing them perform only this past April. It was my first real concert in all my 20 years. I hope Riku can pull together new band members or something. He's far too talented onstage not to keep going with his music. Good luck to both Riku and Kisaki. I hope to see much more from them in the future, despite this set-back.

I actually liked the band as whole...But there is still hope for a bright future, this sudden news just sucks.
I wonder if Tomo, Akito, Loki, and Reiya will be continuing in something together since they all left as a group. But that would be a little awkward XD;
Hm...I guess we'll just have to wait for a while to see what happens.

This was unexpected, at least for me and somehow did this hit me much more in my guts than ever imagined.
Not only brodiaea and Lamina, now chatiots have to disband/ loose all member but one too?
I'm really a huge fan of all those band signed under UCP.
