Platina (プラチナ) is formed by vocalist KENTO in Tokyo (東京)東京.
The band's activity is somewhat murky, so please refer to the notes here as to how we came to certain conclusions about dates.
Unknown member changes occur over the next few years.
Platina pauses activity
Platina revives.
It is known that the band considers Platina to be their 2nd official demotape (at least after revival). The first is probably Migime (右目), as its title track is included in Platina, and the member lineup is almost the same in both.
By the release of demotape Platina (date unknown, but sometime in Spring 2000), SAIJI is no longer listed as support drummer but is listed as producer (and continues to be through 2002). It is unclear if he stopped providing support drums or just stopped being credited for it.
Sometime after the release of Platina (date unknown), bassist NATSUKI secedes.
A flyer advertising an August live indicates that guitarist MASAYA and new bassist KAYMA are members by this time, although their join dates are unclear.
The release date for the band's Present demotape is unknown. The only clues about its release are that the information was in Chiba (千葉) when it was recorded, and the lineup was KENTO / AYAME / MASAYA. This puts it at some unknown time between September 2000 and December 2001.
Around this time (confirmed by a September 2000 flyer), the band's area of activity moves to Chiba (千葉)千葉.
A new flyer advertising a September 4th live no longer lists bassist KAYMA as a member, so he must have seceded.
A flyer advertising April lives mentioned that 3rd demotape INVALIDES (アンヴァーリット) had been planned for a March release but has been postponed. It also mentions that 4th demotape ORGEL (オルゴール) is currently in planning.
The release date of 5th demotape Seishin Ijousha (精神異常者) is unknown, but the cover art appears to be from the same photoshoot as the demotape freely distributed on August 17th. So we can assume that it was released around that time.
First oneman, OPERAza no Sangeki (オペラ座の惨劇), is held. A demotape is freely distributed to attendees.
Free oneman with opening act EVE'zera, 「Chizome no Yakusoku」 (「血染めの約束」), is held.
The band had announced via flyers that AYAME would secede at this live. A demotape, Separate, was to be released as a “memorial” to him. However, he is still listed as a member in that demotape and continued to be a member, so it seems that he changed his mind.
The same demotape lists bassist YU as a member, but does not feature him in the tape's artwork, so it would see that he joined at the last minute—perhaps at this very live.
Oneman, Kyourakuen (狂楽園), is held. A sticker is distributed to attendees, and a demotape is freely distributed to the first 100 attendees.
V. Kento (健斗) / G. Ayame (殺) / G. Masaya (眞夜) / B. Yu (蝣)
Former guitarist MASAYA is no longer listed as a member in the flyer advertising the band's September 25th oneman, but was listed in the band's August 17th demotape. So we can assume he seceded at the August oneman or quickly after.
“New Platina” debuts. Like many bands at the time, they abruptly drop their bloody, kote-kei theme for a more stylish one.
Free oneman, ShinPla Ohirome Muryou ONEMAN♥ (新ぷらお披露目無料ワンマン♥), is held. An unknown present is freely distributed to attendees.
Last known live is held.
