High school visual cover band is formed in Chiba (千葉)千葉. Some bands covered are X JAPAN and GLAY.
The unknown visual cover band begin writing original material.
Unknown guitarist and unknown drummer leave, with vocalist TAKU and bassist YUUKI changing the name of the band to an unknown name. Several guitarists and drummers join the next few years.
The band officially change their name to FIFTH.
The members of FIFTH graduate high school, thus pausing activities for the most part, although it was stated that they were still writing material.
FIFTH officially resume full-fledged activities, and become a non-visual band.
FIFTH play their first official live.
Guitarist SHINOBU joins, establishing their first archived lineup.
By the end of 2003, vocalist TAKU leaves for medical reasons. This would put UNITED on a slight hiatus.
Bassist YUUKI resurrects the group with a new lineup and changes the band's name, once again, to M&A FREE STYLE, which would be their final name. Guitarist SHINOBU would take over for vocal duties and change his name to SHUN, and they would also begin to have a soft visual look by this time as well.

M&A FREE STYLE was a visual kei band in Chiba. They were active from 1997 to 2005 and are now disbanded.
