Litchi☆Hikari CLUB (ライチ☆光クラブ) is formed at some point in 2011. Official release announcements were made in December, and the band was referred to as "PENICILLIN Vocalist HAKUEI unit" based on the manga series of the same name. Before releasing any music, various comics and artworks were created to make the project's music more immersive, and individual songs were gradually released on YouTube. The group also featured Doberman Inc., which is a Japanese rap group, and several rotating support members.
