Vocalist Kataoka Gin (片岡 銀) “temporarily” secedes due to an illness.
The band's label, Fistful record, makes a blog post reprimanding fans for “slandering” the band regarding the Kataoka Gin (片岡 銀) situation.
First oneman is held. Despite discussions about cancelling the live due to the vocalist's illness, the band decides to continue as a four-member unit.
The band's label, Fistful record, announces that vocalist Kataoka Gin (片岡 銀) has not made a “satisfactory” recovery from his illness. As such, the band will “temporarily” pause activity.
The same announcement mentions that the band's fanclub will continue operating (i.e. taking payment) during the band's pause, but that information regarding refunds will be made later in the month.
This is the label's last communication about the band; BrainStein never returns, and refunds for their fanclub are never given.
