This is the 1st in a 5-part series of reissues released by the band's own independent label, ViRUS, and 【kapparecords】. All 5 reissues feature a special wrap-around jacket with new cover image, a picture disc, and 1 random history trading card (of 32 possible). All releases are also remastered. This particular volume is a reissue of the band's self-titled best album from 2000. Per the artist's intentions, most sources refrain from listing the title of the secret 13th track. Those who mailed in proof-of-purchase from all 5 of the reissues received a [privilege CD-R][1].
In 2009, distribution company BounDEE (now SPACE SHOWER MUSIC Distribution) purchased the rights to the 【kapparecords】 back catalog, and, from 2009-07-29, restarted distribution of all Birushana (美流沙女) releases from the label. It's unclear if second presses were made. The new catalog number for this release is DQC-327.
