SPLENDID GOD GIRAFFE on the heels of a second album release has just finished a oneman tour in celebration of the band's 3rd anniversary (with guest appearances from DOG inThePWO (DOG inTheパラレルワールドオーケストラ)'s Junjun as his Junko alter ego).

I had the pleasure of attending the tour finale at Shibuya Rex on April 29. The on-stage atmosphere was positively infectious, everyone seemed to be having a good time and not a note was out of place. Everyone really knows their instruments and moves as a part of a cohesive group. The MC also had a lot of funny moments and great banter about the band's experience living in the same house together.

SPLENDID GOD GIRAFFE puts on a great show and I was very happy to be able to attend the anniversary tour for a second year in a row. Even more amazing is that entry was free! These guys are really cool people and I hope they can continue to tour for the love of the music for many years to come.
