Riku (戮) has released a new mini-album containing covers of works he's written for past bands.
This is actually the second mini-album he's put out this year like this, both of which contained some variation of "「c」" nomenclature. This name may look familiar to long-time fans of the vocalist, but for those who the reference is missed on: 「c」 was the name of a special session band Riku lead while chariots was "thawing out" (coming out of hiatus) in 2015. The distinction between chariots and 「c」 is a bit murky, as the latter was a cover band of the prior and for a period both were simultaneously active, but technically separate, entities.
Like the previous mini-album, 「c」 alive in subculture contains 5 tracks. 4 songs are covers (3 are from chariots, and one is from LIN (凛 -THE END OF CORRUPTION WORLD-)), with the final track being a new song.
You can check out the music video for "Walking In The Rain", originally released by LIN (凛 -THE END OF CORRUPTION WORLD-) in 2010, below.
- Walking in the rain
- Marigold
- Senkou (閃光)
- Togetoga (棘咎)
