kein are reviving after 22 years.

kein, a band originally formed in 1997 and well known as the predecessor other big gothic rock acts like deadman, GULLET, and Blast, has announced on Twitter that they are returning in August of this year! Their first performance, Hajimari ( はじまり ) will be held on August 21st-- exactly 22 years from their date of disbandment, with the same event title as their final show in 2000. The show will be held at Nagoya (名古屋) DIAMOND HALL (ダイアモンドホール).

The new kein features some returning alumni, plus a new drummer. Their 2022 lineup is:

• Gu. aie (ex- Lamiel, kein, deadman )
• Gu. Reo (玲央) (ex- GULLET, kein, lynch. )
• Ba. Yuki (攸紀) (ex- GULLET , kein, ex - deadman , ex - DIMMDIVISION. )
