Kagerou (蜉蝣) is now on streaming!
The legendary band who heavily influenced the visual kei scene in the early 2000s has their discography available now on Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon Music, Youtube Music and more!
Known for their chaotic and moody tracks such as "XII dizzy," "Yubikiri," and "Yuugure no Shazai," Kagerou's impact along with their contemporaries MERRY (メリー) and MUCC (referred to as the "three great families") is deeply embeded within the history of visual kei.
Recently MERRY announced that their July 30th 25th anniversary live -Many Merry Days- will feature a "three great families" (御三家) reunion titled "Daisuke Matsuri!!" (大佑祭り!!) named after the late Kagerou vocalist. The performance will include MUCC and former Kagerou members Kazu, Ewana, and Shizumi.

Kagerou (蜉蝣) is a band that I've only recently started getting into, but it's super cool to try out releases and see how literally every 00's vkei trend they somehow started, helped shape, or were the source material for. Great to see them now accessible to more people!
