Every day, there are more and more visual kei bands on Spotify. Although it's great to have access to vkei on streaming services, it's increasingly difficult to keep track of what is available where. We hope that this page can help you find vkei music more easily.

Welcome to the 10th installment of New Releases Playlist for 2025, featuring La'cryma Christi as the cover artist. Apologies for getting this out a few days late -- as some of you may have seen in the vkgy Discord, I've been traveling and the jetlag from Boston to Tokyo is no joke 😪

Held on October 12, 13, and 14 at SHIBUYA STREAM HALL in Tokyo, visual kei Halloween concert event MASKED HALLOWEEN came to a close amid much excitement.

Monday, October 13th I took another trip down to Shibuya and attended MASKED HALLOWEEN at Shibuya STREAM HALL. MASKED is a visual kei event that kind of seeks to be the answer to the question, “What if somebody organized a visual kei music festival?” This year, MASKED HALLOWEEN was spread over a three-day period in mid-October. There is a mystery band consisting of bandmen from different bands that plays on the last day of the event. Unfortunately, I was busy that day so this live report will only cover day 2 of the MASKED HALLOWEEN event.

XANVALA has announced that they will be releasing a new mini-album next month!

XANVALA has just revealed two live events—including a nationwide tour—and a new EP titled “INDRA” coming fall 2025.
