After a string of mediocre success, SIAM SHADE release their sixth single “1/3の純情な感情”, which was used as an ending theme for the anime Rurouni Kenshin. Thanks to its exposure, it becomes their first release to break the Oricon top 10 charts at number 3, and becomes certified gold, becoming their best-selling single to date.

SIAM SHADE disbands again
Vocalist Hideki (栄喜), guitarist KAZUMA, bassist NATCHIN and drummer JUNJI all file a lawsuit against guitarist DAITA over copyright control over their music.
The lawsuit is settled with the band releasing a statement that although guitarist DAITA is still a member, from this point on, it will become more common to see SIAM SHADE together as a four-piece without DAITA.
SIAM SHADE announce that they will be temporarily reuniting to celebrate their 30th anniversary of becoming a major act with SOPHIA, who made their major debut on the same month: in October of 1995.
SIAM SHADE play their first reunion show with SOPHIA. DAITA does not rejoin the group for the live.
SIAM SHADE play their final reunion live with SOPHIA. Once again, DAITA does not rejoin.
SIAM SHADE was a visual kei band. They were part of the soft visual subgenre. They were active from 1991 to 2016 and are now disbanded.
Source please? I couldn't find reliable information about this, and Aiji was still residing in Nagano at that time. It would have been impossible for him to play in two bands so far apart. It makes more sense that he started to help as a roadie after he moved to Tokyo and joined KALEN in mid to late 1994. Also Aiji's name at that time is read "アイ", not "エイ" as SIAM SHADE's drummer. It would be weird for him to hide that he was a member of such a popular band while recognizing his past in much more obscure bands.
