Shame release their first demo tape, “INSIDE”.
hide heard Shame’s demo tape, and immediately sign them to his label, LEMONed. Unfortunately, due to hide’s sudden suicide, Shame are unable to release material for the next few years.
Shame’s second single, “ZERO and INFINITE”, is sponsored by Tower Records.
After spending the last two years in limbo and relying on touring exclusively, Shame finally get a break and sign to Unlimited Records, officially becoming a major act.
Shame announces its official disbandment.
Shame play their final live at the Cafe Le PSYENCE venue in Yokosuka, and officially disband.
Shame reunite, with their first few comeback lives selling out rather quickly.
Dr. ANIKI leaves. Shame then continue on as a three-piece.
