Visual kei band REPLIC∀ (レプリカ) forms.
REPLIC∀ changes their name into Replicachan (れぷりかちゃん) (レプリカチャン).
The band's official reasoning for changing their name was so that it was “easier to pronounce,” despite it being pronounced the same as before.
Around this time, the band changes to a non-vkei band.
