It is a bit confusing about how this project should be referred to. Based his Twitter and browsing his webshop, it seems like Onida (鬼堕) refers to the solo project, Onidakun (鬼堕くん。) is his stage name / persona, and FAKEDAWN refers to an all-encompassing art-meets-visual-kei-meets-fashion endeavor.

For several weeks after his first tweet, an album entitled 「Haikei, Nihon no Minasama Watakushi ga Kisai to Tobareta Onida de Shi。」 Usu (「拝啓、日本の皆様わたくしが鬼才と呼ばれた鬼堕で死。」鬱) is teased with a release date of "2026.xx.xx". For the next month, the album art with slight color alterations is tweeted out with unrelated messages, but no further details seem to surface.

By this point, Onida (鬼堕) begins selling demo-cds from his webshop and announces each with new promo pictures and a brief sample video. Songs are credited with music and lyrics written by "FAKEDAWN" and "Donald Jack", and Twitter user Mnight_Jfish is credited with recording. Each single is listed as a "bootleg demo", contains 1 track, and comes with a photograph of Onidakun (鬼堕くん。) as an oversized insert.
