La'Vistier (ラ・ヴィスチェ) forms in Tokyo (東京)東京.
It is announced via a SANBIKA (賛美歌) fanclub newsletter that Sakura (櫻) (who had seceded from that band in July) has formed a new band called La'Vistier.
At that point, guitarist Sakura (櫻) is the only member. However, vocalist Maya (舞夜) joins at the last second--saving Sakura (櫻) from having to record vocals for their first single herself.
Bassist Yukino (雪乃) accompanies vocalist Maya (舞夜) to a studio rehearsal, and is recruited to the band later that night.

Sakura (櫻) travels to Nagoya (名古屋) to see the last live of Vs~Versus~, after Chihiro (千尋), the vocalist of that band, had sent a letter to her expressing his interest in La'Vistier. Impressed by the live, she offers him a place in the band.

The band temporarily changes its name to Laviear and begins secret activity.

Sometime in early 2001, after it becomes clear that support bassist Yukino (雪乃) is unable to continue, leader Sakura (櫻) decides not to use the name La'Vistier until another bassist joins.

Sometime after the formation of Eliz Avate (date unknown), guitarist Shunka (瞬華) is recruited by Chihiro (千尋), apparently in a bid to encourage the band to book some lives.
Around this time (exact month unknown), the band books its first live, which is set for November. However, vocalist Chihiro (千尋) and guitarist Shunka (瞬華) secede, ostensibly due to Shunka (瞬華) having been in a motorcycle accident.

“Mysterious” vocalist MIU, and ex-bassist Yukino (雪乃) are recruited as support members for the singular live of Eliz Avate.
Due to the band's unsatisfactory performance, it disbands after only one live.

The 2001 name change was definitely Eliz Avate, but the 2015 name change seems to have been ELISABETH, despite those two names being pronounced the same. However, the 2015 name is only based on the band's homepage at that time, so this is unconfirmed.
La'Vistier changes its name to ELISABETH (エリザベート).
