L'ie:Chris changes name to Kar†te=zyAnose (カルテチアノーゼ), and first official live is held.
Drummer Kirua (霧緋) changes the notation of his name to Kirua (切茜), and changes position to vocalist. Vocalist Saki (咲) changes position to drummer.

At some point, Kar†te=zyAnose seems to be in the process of signing with Eternal, as their last live is held at an Eternal event and both the GazettE and Cuartet would later sign to Eternal
Kar†te=zyAnose performs their last live at the Eternal Happy New Years event, and disbands
Kar†te=zyAnose was a visual kei band. They were part of the iryou kei and kote kei subgenres. They were active from 2001 to 2002 and are now disbanded.
