HΛL

HΛL is formed as a production group.

Although HΛL was started in 1996, it wasn’t until 1999 that the production group actually really started activities, after they became an exclusive act to AVEX TRAX. During this time, they most notably worked with KinKi Kids, Every Little Thing and 浜崎あゆみ.

HΛL hold an audition for a vocalist in early 2000, which is won by 浜田春菜, who then changes her name to HΛLNA. HΛL then become an actual recording group by the summer of 2000.

HΛL release their first single “DECIDE”, which is a moderate success, reaching number 27 on the Oricon charts.

HΛL release their first full length album “Violation of the rules”, which reaches number 8 on the Oricon charts, becoming their best selling release to date.

Vo. HΛLNA and Gt./Key. 佐藤あつし both leave HΛL, both disintegrating the recording project, as well as making it the sole project of Gt./Key. 梅崎俊春

HΛL goes on as a production project of Gt./Key. 梅崎俊春, with Gt. 清水武仁 and Key. 中野雄太 joining.

Key. 中野雄太 leaves, and Key. 丸山真由子 joins.

Gt. 清水武仁 and Key. 丸山真由子 both leave HΛL.

HΛL disbands.
