Gilles Loves (ジルスラブス) forms in Nagoya (名古屋)名古屋, initially as a Bauhaus cover band.
V. NANA (ナナ) / G. MIKI (ミキ) / B. NOBU (ノブ)
Before the release of "Bara no Oukoku (薔薇の王国)", Gilles Loves has changed name to GILLE'LOVES (ジルラブス). Vocalist NANA (ナナ) changes name to Lucifer Luscious Violenoué.
A bassist named RYOU is said to be a member at this point; hence, NOBU (ノブ) probably secedes. It is unknown, however, what the other members call themselves.
It is fairly plausible (based on his importance in songwriting) that guitarist MIKI (ミキ) does not secede but instead changes name to NEO FRANCIOUS. It is, however, plausible that bassist RYOU (リョウ), if he actually is a member, secedes and is replaced by GILLIAN.

V. LUCIFER LUSCIOUS / G. NEO FRANCIOUS / B. GILLIAN
At some point, GILLE'LOVES stops activities.
GILLE'LOVES reforms.
Bassist ALEX is said to have performed on the band's first demo "Bara no Oukoku (薔薇の王国)". This is disproven based on the member listing on the tape; it clearly notes that the bassist performing is GILLIAN (which is said, but not proven, to be another of SYLVAIN ASHWORTH's stage names).
Self-sponsored live event held.
By this time, bassist GILLIAN seems to have seceded. It seems as though bassist ALEX plays support (it's basically confirmed that he performs on "Barairo no Kyuuketsuki (薔薇色の吸血鬼)"). If bassist HIDE ever is a (support) member of the band, he may also play support at this time.
At this time, guitarist NEO FRANCIOUS changes name to GARDIE -- though he is credited as "GARDLUD" in a minikomi (D' PROJECT '93) in January of 1993, and vocalist LUCIFER LUSCIOUS changes name to Lucifer Luscious Violenoué (notated in various ways throughout her career).

Oneman held.
Live is held. At this point, bassist SYLVAIN ASHWORTH plays support.
V. Lucifer Luscious Violenoué / G. GARDIE / B. SYLVAIN ASHWORTH (support)
At this time of the release of "Alternative Sun", support bassist HEATHER is present in the band (be it another stage name of SYLVAIN ASHWORTH, or another person).
V. Lucifer Luscious Violenoué / G. GARDIE / B. HEATHER (support)
At this time (in 1996, or at least in early 1997), bassist SYLVAIN ASHWORTH seems to be the official bassist.

GILLE'LOVES changes name CRIME (クライム) and holds their first live. Eventually, their new name will be temporarily changed to KU KLUX KLAN (クー・クラックス・クラン) in June, and to fiction (フェィクション) around the end of the year.
fiction effectively disbands (?)
fiction was a visual kei band in Nagoya. They were active until 1998 and are now disbanded.
from what i've seen, most bands labelled nagoya kei were formed and based there for the duration of the band's existence. fiction ended up moving to tokyo. idk for sure how the categories work but that's just what i've observed
A question regarding 薔薇色の吸血鬼: which cover is the first and which cover is the second press? The information online is conflicting.
薔薇色の吸血鬼のジャケットについての質問ですが、ファーストプレストセカンドプレスはどちらになるのでしょうか??ネット上の情報では矛盾しています。
By looking closer at the photos posted the picture of the first press here also have Lucifer on the cover but the back looks different. Also the version I have have the words printed in golden ink. So there might be three presses.
It seems: 1st press (1,000) Lucifer on the cover 2nd press (3,000) Cross on the cover 3rd press (2,000) Lucifer on the cover 2 bonus tracks
Nothing official but someone pretty confident about the band's info writes here: https://5ch-ranking.com/cache/view/visual/1063554901#45 "Barairo no Kyuuketsuki" 1st press 1,000 copies>Same picture as the 3rd press on the cover, but it looks like the photos were directly pasted onto the front cover. Simple design without the golden frame of 3rd press. Front cover is just one piece of paper with a separate black and white booklet inside (same design as the 2nd press but without the member's message). 2nd press 3,000 copies>Black background with a golden cross design. The separate booklet has the same pictures of 1st press in black and white. 3rd press 2,000 copies>with 2 bonus tracks.Same cover art as the (official?) website. Comes with a big piece of paper with the lyrics in golden letters. Back cover has a different picture of the band members.
