Drummer Takashi Koyama (小山崇) passes away in a car accident at 19 years old.
Guitarist Jun Daidouji (大道寺淳) secedes and Z.Zephyr go on a slight hiatus.
Z.Zephyr resume activities. An unknown drummer joins.

The unknown drummer, while intoxicated, calls SHINTARO and apparently trash talked the other members and vanished from the band.
Drummer Kyou Yoshida (吉田恭) is recruited. Due to his previous visual kei history, duke begin to embrace a more soft visual image and style.

duke play their first live with this lineup and new image.
Due to Kyou Yoshida (吉田恭) severely clashing with guitarist TAKARA over how their music should evolve (Kyou believed that the band should make their music more accessible and appealing to a wider audience, while TAKARA believed that the band should have a sound that was true to themselves), Kyou Yoshida (吉田恭) secedes. SHINTARO and TAKA try to stop him from leaving to no avail.
duke decide to become a trio.
Drummer Takanori Igarashi (五十嵐貴則) joins.

Drummer ATSUSHI officially joins.
