The band sometimes retroactively refers to this as their formation date, but they were in fact active from Spring 1992.
Bassist MASAKI secedes due to illness. Guitarist SHINN (真) switches to bass.

The timing of the band's name change is completely unclear. Their official website states that it was Summer 1994 (probably the July 1994 date that they retroactively referred to as their formation), but a September 1995 magazine still uses the older name, and a live schedule used the older name through 1996.
CRY«mu» start their DATA ERROR Tour, which is used to promote and sell their "Data Tape II Error Film" VHS.
Drummer YUICHI (裕一) secedes for personal reasons and is replaced by AKITO. Bassist SHINN (真) switches back to guitar, and new bassist TAKASHI joins.

CRY≪MU≫ disbands
CRY≪MU≫ reunite for one-night only.
CRY≪MU≫ was a visual kei band. They were part of the soft visual subgenre. They were active from 1992 to 2004 and are now disbanded.
