The name is said to mean that they are the “byproduct of 6,” with 6 being “the number of the beast” in the Bible. As in, they are the byproduct of something evil.
By this time (exact date unknown), vocalist RYO and drummer MAKOTO secede. Guitarist KAZUMASA switches to vocals.
After about six months, 6 bY Product pauses activity.
At some point, 6 bY Product revives.
Side guitarist AKIRA and/or drummer YUUKOU join.

6 bY Product was a visual kei band in Tokyo. They were part of the soft visual subgenre. They were active from 1999 to 2005 and are now disbanded.
