Here are today's development updates. As always, thank you for supporting vkgy!

  1. new feature Continuing work on blog.
  2. improvement Updated SNS generator to output chunks to facilitate granular previewing.
  3. new feature Updated access_blog to auto-find parent article when grabbing translation.
  4. improvement Updated image upload renderer to show image description in auto-generated Markdown.
  5. minor addition Added ability in image uploader to update Markdown in real time as image's description is changed.
  6. minor addition Updated image uploader CSS to make Markdown instantly select on click.
  7. minor addition Updated .htaccess to allow providing a preview key in blog link.
  8. other Removed old update_image script from blog functions--seems to be unused.
  9. new feature Added function to generate preview of SNS post.
  10. new feature Updated blog preview function to handle sources and supplemental material.
  11. new feature Updated blog update function to handle contributors, handle translations, and handle SNS overrides.
  12. improvement Slightly changed links in tertiary nav of blog section.
  13. new feature Updated blog index to show preview image for draft posts (for SNS), and to allow public previews. Also updated navigation slightly.
  14. minor addition Updated blog article and interview views to properly show contributors (removing duplicates) and to show a notice when viewing an article through a public preview link, or when viewing a draft.
  15. new feature Added ability to generate a child translation post (English is original/parent post).
  16. new feature Completely rebuilt 'add article' page to clean up design and add functionality, including: auto-saving of drafts, clearer distinction between drafts and published, 'featured artist' grabbed automatically from summary, summary designated in preview, add translations, set 'main author' and 'contributors', change how SNS will appear, and generate public preview link. Also includes numerous bug fixes and UX improvements.
  17. bug fix Made sure public preview links for blog entries only work if entry has a token.
  18. improvement Rearranged advanced options when adding a post, and added some emoji.
  19. bug fix Temporarily disabled artist_views since table got corrupted.
  20. bug fix Updated SNS preview to show all contributors.
  21. bug fix Fixed issue where wrong ID was inserted in blog posts, and also fixed issue with featured artist.
