A listing for a LACK-CO. (ラッコ) best album appeared at a certain shop today, and was quickly taken down afterward...

Mana (lead guitarist of Moi Dix Mois, Malice Mizer and visual-kei icon) announced on his Twitter that drummer GAZ has passed away on December 22nd. The reason stated was due to an illness he succumbed to yesterday.
chariots will pause activities on November 23.
's appearance at the March 31st MIRAGE and Matina memorial event has been cancelled.
DEVIL KITTY guitarist Akina has been ordered to two weeks of bed rest following the discovery that he had suffered a stroke.
PARANOID≠CIRCUS, who had recently signed into the king zeebra label back in January, have announced that they will disband after their last live, "MERCY KILLER SHOW" on July 14 at OSAKA MUSE.
PARANOID≠CIRCUS has cancelled their February 23rd live at Shibuya (渋谷) REX, due to vocalist Garu (我儿) fracturing his heel bone.
On 2017-02-08, at 01:16, Kentz (ケンツ) passed away. He had been battling cancer for 5 years.
As we reported last week, FAZ drummer TAKAHIRO was arrested by Osaka police, which prompted the band to pause activities later on next year.
FAZ drummer TAKAHIRO (a.k.a. Hiyoka (卑妖華), ex-WERKMARE) has been arrested, and the band will indefinitely pause activities in consequence.
Little update on MARCO (マルコ)'s live schedule:
KISAKI has finally broken his radio silence: this morning he tweeted that KISAKI PROJECT feat.Hitomi will perform in December, and that he's sorry for the trouble he caused.
TLDR: KISAKI was caught in a scandal today, and seems to have abruptly retired as a result... Full details, as I understand them, follow:
ARLEQUIN (アルルカン) vocalist Aki (暁) will temporarily cease performing due vocal nodules.
Here's some minor news:
UNDER CODE PRODUCTION session band Shingen Kichi SPECIAL ~PERMANENT BAND~ (神言基地SPECIAL ~パーマネントバンド~) successfully completed its live at Abeno ROCKTOWN. They played several staples of Kisaki & Kansai Kizoku (妃&関西貴族) setlists:
Cecir (ex-E'm ~grief~) will no longer be able to participate in Cero (LIN (凛 -THE END OF CORRUPTION WORLD-))'s birthday event, Here's looking at me, kid VOL:2, this year due to family reasons. This also means he will not be able to perform on guitar for Cero's session band...(hope Cero finds a replacement!)
PARANOID≠CIRCUS buffalo (drummer) Kizuna (紲) will resume activities at the band's 2015-07-10 sponsored event. He had been absent from the band [since February] to allow a hernia to heal.
CARAT (カラット) has postponed their last live, which was scheduled for 2015-04-03, due to vocalist Yuuji。 (ゆーじ。) being involved in an unspecified accident which has fractured his jaw. In such a condition, it's impossible for him to sing, so the live will be rescheduled to some time in the summer of this years. Details TBA once they're decided.
the:Ø's web shop has been temporarily closed, apparently due to fraudulent activities. If I understand correctly, someone was placing orders using the name and address of someone who didn't want any items, resulting in the band spending large amounts of money on shipping, etc. The band is currently investigating whether or not to involve the police and how to move forward.
[As I guessed], it was Shirakawa Yoshihisa (白川 善久), of white Great wall, sound advisor to LIN (凛 -THE END OF CORRUPTION WORLD-), who passed away.
KISAKI fractured his foot at a recent LIN (凛 -THE END OF CORRUPTION WORLD-) (凛 -THE END OF CORRUPTION WORLD-) live, and it will take about a 1½ months to heal. LIN (凛 -THE END OF CORRUPTION WORLD-) will be very busy lately, but it seems that KISAKI plans to push through the pain.
Seems that ISORA (イソラ) is a “bad luck band” too. Guitarist 空-ciel [missed a live] recently due to his acute sickness. After that, he had informed the members that he would need to be hospitalized longer. However, he stopped contact with the members days after that―and so they've fired him.
You might remember, ONENESS (ワンネス) guitarist DAI [disappeared from the other members] last month. ONENESS (ワンネス) has announced that DAI will return to the band on 2014-08-03 at their instore event.
ISORA (イソラ) guitarist 空-ciel is sick and, on doctor's orders, will be unable to appear at the bassist Kizuna (絆) birthday live today. ciel's session which was scheduled to appear at the event has been cancelled, and ISORA will perform without him.
YUUZE (ユーゼ) of E'm ~grief~ has passed away on February 15.
ARLEQUIN (アルルカン) (アルルカン) guitarist Kuruto (來堵) injured himself at a recent live, and has been diagnosed with a torn ACL. At recommendation of his doctor, Kuruto will temporarily pause live activities, and ARLEQUIN (アルルカン) will perform with only 4 members for their upcoming lives.
12012 vocalist Miyawaki Wataru (宮脇 渉) has been given the OK by his doctor to resume activities (after being restricted to vocal rest in December of 2013). The band will resume live activity on 2014-01-29 at Meguro Rockmaykan (目黒鹿鳴館). (However, still being on vocal rest until that date, Miyawaki Wataru will not participate in the band's 1/17 instore or 1/21 video appearance.)
KISAKI has announced a memorial event for AYAME, the ex-drummer of MIRAGE who passed away this year. The 3 day event features a slew of one-day revivals from infamous 90s visual kei bands, with MIRAGE headlining each event. Check out the full details below:
As [previously mentioned], UNDER CODE is supporting ex-「あゃ」 (「Aya」) [and ex-chariots support] drummer 兼継 (Kentz) by sponsoring his “last stage” events. It turns out that “last stage” doesn't just refer to musical retirement...
UNDER CODE is sponsoring an event for 兼継 (Kentz), ex drummer of 「あゃ」 (「Aya」) and chariots, as he retires from the music scene. (I mentioned this live in a [previous post], but full details have since been revealed.)
As promised, here's the entry about Taku that I really wanted to post. I also discovered that TAKAFUMI wrote a small entry related to Taku, so I'll post that one first.
Just wanted to post a couple of blog posts about HEISEI ISHIN (平成維新) vocalist Taku's death (December 10th was the one year anniversary, and December 13th would have been his 23rd birthday.)
There should be an official message from UNDER CODE PRODUCTION about this soon, but I thought I would post an update for anyone who might be interested... LIN (凛 -THE END OF CORRUPTION WORLD-) had to cancel their one year anniversary live today due to problems with a smoke effect they had. They got through all the session bands and they were just playing the first song, and they had to stop and get everyone out.
朱 (SUZAKU (朱)) bassist 時雨 (Shigure) was hospitalized on Friday due to a sudden illness. At the UNITED LINK for JAPAN VOL:2 live yesterday, guitarist 鴉 (Karasu) acted as bassist, and a support member will be found for future lives.
An additional band has been added to the lineup of UNITED LINK for JAPAN VOL:2: リミット (LIMIT). Oh, and by the way, since I didn't mention it in the last post: this second volume is not free like the first event was.
It seems that the UNDER CODE PRODUCTION sponsored earthquake charity event, UNITED LINK for JAPAN, was a success, so they've decided to hold a second volume! This new event will be held in June at ESAKA MUSE, and several special acts will appear.
As promised, the second set of bands that will appear at UNITED LINK for JAPAN has been announced today. (For information on the event, please see the original post.)
As part of UNDER CODE PRODUCTION's earthquake charity campaign, UNITED LINK for JAPAN, two special items will be sold at the web shop, and all profits will be donated to the Japanese Red Cross. The items will go on sale on 2011-04-15. (Anyone who buys these items will be eligible for a ticket to the UNITED LINK for JAPAN charity event on April 30th, although that doesn't really apply to us.)
As I mentioned earlier this month, UNDER CODE PRODUCTION announced a charity concert to benefit victims of the recent earthquake in Japan. Today, UCP revealed the first round of information regarding the event.
My PayPal account has been put on hold again, because I'm apparently not allowed to take donations either. So although I'm still grateful, I'm refunding all donations, and I'll just write off the $25 as a CD that I'll miss out on.
I was just contacted by PayPal and told that this community's raffle violated their TOS, and my account could be closed because of it. So to prevent that from happening, I've removed mention of them from the original post and temporarily suspended the raffle.
Although the details haven't been decided yet, UNDER CODE has announced that it will hold a charity event to benefit the earthquake victims! The event is called UNITED LINK for JAPAN, and will be held simultaneously at two live houses on 2011-04-30. The event will be free to enter, although there will presumably be a donation box. Again, no specifics have been decided, but from watching blogs, it seems that most of the UCP bands will be participating.
These have already sold out, so forgive me, but I figured I should post about them for history's sake. The UNDER CODE PRODUCTION official web shop recently put up a few special, very limited items for sale. First, cheki featuring KISAKI and members of NEGA, members of CindyKate (シンディケイト), VIDOLL's RAME, or Sadie's Mao. Only one was available of each, so they sold out almost immediately.
凛 -the end of corruption world- (LIN (凛 -THE END OF CORRUPTION WORLD-)) has announced the release of OFFICIAL BOOTLEG DVD VOL:1, which will contain live footage. No specific release date has been decided (see below), but it is exclusively for order at the official web shop, and will ship out sometime late this month.
UNDER CODE PRODUCTION will donate proceeds from its official web shop to victims of the recent earthquake. This special campaign will apply to all items and will last from 2011-03-15 (today) to 2011-04-30.
The twenty-date, free, oneman tour that シンディケイト (CindyKate (シンディケイト)) was to embark on as of 2011-03-11 has been postponed, due to damage from the recent earthquake. The following three dates are currently set to occur as scheduled, but they too may be subject to postponement:
Here's the current list of UNDER CODE live postponements/cancellations due to the recent earthquake:
I forgot to post this, over and over. I'm really sorry that it's so late now.
平成維新 (HEISEI ISHIN (平成維新)) bassist 善 (yoshi) has announced that a public flower ceremony has been organized for 拓 (Taku), who passed away on 2010-12-10.
Assuming you've read/seen the posts Taku's UCP friends have written about him, here are some from people who are not from the label ((though some are related in one way or other)) if anyone's interested. I'm sure there are more out there, these are just those I came across while wanting to read those people's blogs. You can make a search for more, if you'd like. Translations are always welcome if you feel like doing it.
Apparently 拓 (Taku), vocalist of 平成維新 (HEISEI ISHIN (平成維新)), has passed away.
Kisaki is having the last meal of his hospital stay and getting discharged tonight~~ He's promised the doctor that he'll report to the hospital regularly so he doesn't have to live there anymore. And...because living at the hospital is no fun, he's going to take care of his body even while working hard. Yay~
discharged today from the hospital, and so he will be appearing at the 2010-06-18 live (should be about to start!).
Kisaki was let out of the hospital to attend his first Tokyo live (as 凛). He's rushing there at the moment...while weak from 3-4 days of not eating (lol). Unbelievable(!)
This obviously isn't UNDER CODE news, and most of you probably know already, but they were part of the family once, so I'm posting it anyway!
It seems that 優's (Yu's) father died, according to KISAKI's blog ;(
I need to go to bed, so I'll just link to my original post:
Today in his blog, a notice explained that on Monday, KISAKI was rushed to the hospital after his health rapidly deteriorated. Upon examination, he was diagnosed with a severe case of Ulcerative Duodenitis (Duodenitis is basically inflammation and irritation of the wall of the first part of the small intestine, and this type has ulcers involved). He will be hospitalized at least three weeks, and at the moment he is in the ICU under doctor’s orders of complete bed rest.
KISAKI has been hospitalized after a checkup, due to a problem in his duodenum (a section of the small intestine). He's currently in the ICU and can't leave the hospital for at least three weeks.
I just read the news!! today
Ok, I just had to delete the last post; it was already getting out of hand. Sorry about that. Here is a direct translation of KISAKI's situation. Please note that KISAKI has NOT been arrested, he has only been accused. And please, let's keep the comments fair. This post has potential to turn ugly, and I want to make sure it doesn't.
