TERESA (テレサ) had some concert-goers worried when they initially announced their September 23rd “farewell live”—so naturally I bought a ticket to see what the announcement was.
It didn't have the atmosphere of an actual farewell or break-up at all, and it turns out—it wasn't! TERESA (テレサ) is changing their name to romaji instead of katakana and changing their catalog of songs. We've been had! (but in a way that ended in some interesting news and things to look forward to)
I did notice the room had more people than in the beginning and that the majority of the audience were active (even vocal) participants in the show. I wonder if the shift will lead to more of a focus on having the audience mosh and sweat the night away. TERESA (テレサ) never had a particularly long or extensive list of songs, but I'm glad we got to say goodbye to the ones we've grown accustomed to!
Though this particular show had Tatsuhi on support bass and Syu on support drums, almost immediately after the show, the band account on Twitter tweeted out a new artist photo featuring Tatsuhi (ZORO ) and Ookuma (HELLBROTH (ヘルブロス), WHITEHEAD).
