A special sequel to the Matina omnibus PRELUDE, sold only at Third Stage stores and co-produced by owner Katsuhara Okada (along with Matina president KISAKI). Guitarist Ruiza (Syndrome) sound produced. It features songs from three Matina session bands, plus a live recording from Syndrome.
The CD is pressed and comes in a jewel case with lyric insert. There's a separate insert with the cover art, of which four different types were available. This is the version featuring W←→K on the cover.
Kansai-Ume-Bara-Gumi (関西梅薔薇組) was a two-part session led by GARDEN vocalist Shoma (翔魔) and Mist of Rouge vocalist Satsuki (皐姫), each part featuring different Matina musicians.
Kansai-Ume-Bara-Gumi Ⅰ (関西梅薔薇組Ⅰ) performs a cover of ・・・Air, the most famous song of MIRAGE (the previous band of Matina president KISAKI). Members of GARDEN, Mist of Rouge, and Syndrome round out the lineup.
Kansai-Ume-Bara-Gumi Ⅱ (関西梅薔薇組Ⅱ)—which also features Zephyr guitarist Shinobus as third lead vocalist and Matina president KISAKI on bass—performs the Matina “fight song,” Matina Gunka (魔帝那軍歌). This song was typically performed by large sessions as a closer to important Matina events. Members of GARDEN, Mist of Rouge, Syndrome, and Mëbius round out the lineup.
Syndrome's contribution is a live recording of the song SLEPT DOLL from their 2001-06-10 oneman at Osaka (大阪) BANANA HALL, at which vocalist Tatsuya (龍夜) and guitarist ken seceded. (Because the recording was of the first period version of the band, it's credited on the CD as Syndrome #1.)
W←→K is essentially a solo parody song composed and sung by GARDEN guitarist Kaname (要), with KISAKI on bass. (Interestingly, circumstance would later force Kaname (要) to be composer and vocalist with only one other member in GARDEN.) Various musicians from EzeːquL, Mëbius, DERAIL, and Syndrome feature in the chorus.
