This month's featured artist is: Laputa!

Welcome to the 7th installment of the New Releases Playist for 2024 ♫ It contains new music, as well as music newly added to the platform. Apologies for the late post -- I've had a lot of stuff going on IRL that made me lose track of time and before I knew it, it was August. 😅

This month, we selected Laputa to be the featured artist because their music became more widely available on international streaming services. While it is not their entire discograpy, their works from when the band was signed to Toshiba EMI are now ready to listen to, and, if you're new to the band, this era is a great starting point to check out one of the most influential bands to come out of the Nagoya scene.

I will be starting the August playlist right away, which will also capture releases put out towards the end of the month that I missed here. Stay tuned for the next one! 🎶
