This morning, KISAKI tweeted a cryptic message: “Something unforgivable has suddenly happened. Must consult with the members and staff immediately. Shit!!!!” Just now, the bad news has been revealed: guitarist MIZUKI has suddenly withdrawn from LIN (凛 -THE END OF CORRUPTION WORLD-).
Back when LIN (凛 -THE END OF CORRUPTION WORLD-) announced their upcoming indefinite hiatus, MIZUKI also announced his intention to withdraw from the band on that date (June 30th—when their last oneman is to take place).
However, it seems that MIZUKI messaged KISAKI this morning and announced his intention to withdraw from the band immediately (January 7th). MIZUKI then refused to return emails and phone messages, rendering his withdrawal effective immediately.
According to KISAKI's official comment on the matter, one of the reasons behind MIZUKI's original intention to withdraw was scheduling conflicts—perhaps school or family conflict. KISAKI says that the band wanted to stay as they were and so they booked lives to accommodate MIZUKI... But I guess he just couldn't wait until June to be free from band commitments.
In the mean time, LIN (凛 -THE END OF CORRUPTION WORLD-) will continue as a 4 member band. Decisions about their last oneman on June 30th have yet to be made.

Reason for leaving? We can only speculate . If he wanted to leave on a positive note then he should have made a statement. He will be remember for abandonment.

I really wanted to comment after I saw Riku's blog post basically asking people to not call Mizuki names. It's important that people listen to that, and realize that Mizuki is a human being. He has shit happen to him just like we do, every day. I'm sure he made this decision because he felt it was the right choice in the matter. As fans it's always easy for us to get caught up in the 'BUT I WANT MORE MUSIC/SHOWS/INSTOREEVENTS/etc NOW" craze, and I hate it, because it not only puts unrealistic expectations on the artists, but it gives them such a heavy sense of obligation that they'll push aside the most important things for fear of letting their fans down. Though I'm not OMG YAY MIZUKI LEFT, sort of happy, I am happy that he did this, that he had the courage to do what he needed to do in his life. He chose his humanity over his obligation, I can have only respect for him.

Approve Edit Restrict Delete Lock threadEven if I agree with you pixyfalse on the point that is totally unrespectful for the people involved in LIN, there is some other things way more important than work in life. If he had some serious familly issues, or something, he had to deal with it (and that's sort of make him a good person for me, IF this is really what happened.) We can't judge him, because we know nothing. But yeah, it's an abrupt way to leave.
