KISAKI has announced that the next volume of the legendary revival event series will be held in October!

Rin・ne・ten・sei~OVERTHROW Covid-19 SESSION NIGHT~ (輪・廻・転・生~OVERTHROW Covid-19 SESSION NIGHT~) will be held at Abeno (阿倍野) ROCKTOWN on October 10th. Several special sessions related to EIJI (エイジ) and KISAKI will appear!

RYOUKITANTEISHA MACARONI (猟奇探偵社マカロニ) will hold a one-night revival at the event, and will freely distribute a CD to attendees afterward.

Furthermore, there are currently plans to sell streaming tickets. Details on that will be announced at a later date. Read on to learn more about the event!

Since the time when he started his activity as a bandman and label owner with MIRAGE and Matina—no, since before that, when he was the leader of La:Sadie's—KISAKI has dropped one exciting scheme after the other onto the visual scene.

After the dissolution of UNDER CODE PRODUCTION (the label he started after Matina) and stopping activity with his band LIN (凛 -THE END OF CORRUPTION WORLD-), KISAKI has been keeping a low profile. But still he continues to stimulate the vkei scene with one idea after another.

Ten years ago, in November of 2011, KISAKI produced an event at Akasaka (赤坂) BLITZ called Rin・ne・ten・sei~A RETURN OF “VISUAL MONSTER”~ (輪・廻・転・生~A RETURN OF “VISUAL MONSTER”~) which celebrated bands who dominated the visual scene of the 90s. At that time, titans of vkei Deshabillz, Kneuklid Romance, La'Mule, Aliene Ma'riage, and Romance for~ all held one-day revivals, and KISAKI himself performed with an all-star cast as KISAKI PROJECT.

In July of 2014, at ESAKA MUSE, the next edition of the event was held: ~Cry-Max Pleasure 2014~. This one brought back bands that exemplified the Kansai (関西) scene of the early 90s: ZEDEKIAH, BILLY & THE SLUTS, Ange∞Graie, and TAI:LEN. KISAKI's band at the time, LIN (凛 -THE END OF CORRUPTION WORLD-), also appeared to add a touch of modern glamour.

Seven years have passed since then, and KISAKI has finally produced the next edition of this series. This one will be held at Abeno (阿倍野) ROCKTOWN on October 10th with the subtitle ~OVERTHROW COVID-19 SESSION NIGHT~!

EIJI

This time, the main act will be the “one-day revival after 17 years” of RYOUKITANTEISHA MACARONI (猟奇探偵社マカロニ), the former band of Himitsu Kessha CODOMO A (秘密結社コドモA)~Kibouya Hompo (キボウ屋本舗) vocalist EIJI (エイジ). Furthermore, the band will be distributing their first release in 17 years, for free!

EIJI (エイジ) has been a long-time friend of KISAKI, who will himself appear with the one-night session Shinkirou (蜃気楼) {mirage}. The name of the session is sure to make fans smile, and we can't wait to see how he will charm the audience.

KISAKI last played on May 15th at SHIBUYA-REX during a session event—his first stage in 3 years. He played covers from several bands he had previously been active in, and the event was a huge success. As always, KISAKI exceeded the expectation of his fans. This performance of Shinkirou (蜃気楼) is sure to do the same.

I've known EIJI for more than 25 years, and released two CDs for his band RYOUKITANTEISHA MACARONI (猟奇探偵社マカロニ) through Matina. I've even played bass on stage with that band! I've always wanted to see them personally, so I asked him and he agreed. And so I've put together this event. I'm grateful to everyone who will perform, and I hope that it will be heled safely and successfully.
