ネガ has finally announced their full revival. And the first order of business is a name change! The band has officially changed their name to NEGA to represent their new period. Of course, it wouldn't be complete without a new look ↓

NEGA has made several announcements today (—in bits and pieces, so sorry for editing the post so much). The main one for us is a new maxi-single! But they've also announced their new name, a new group photo, their revival live, a live distributed CD, and a European tour.

-- First, let's discuss lives: NEGA has announced that they will revive with a oneman held on July 26th at O-WEST! The oneman will of course mark their revival, but also their 6th anniversary. To celebrate, NEGA will freely distribute a CD containing a new song and a message from the band about their anniversary.

Although they haven't released details, NEGA has officially confirmed the European tour that many of you have heard rumors about. That tour will occur in September. In October, the band will hold a Tokyo/Nagoya/Osaka tour, details TBA.

-- Edit: I originally posted that EVOL and DOOLB were new songs featured on second discs. This is not the case; EVOL and DOOLB are the names of the second discs, which contain remakes of old songs.

NEGA's first release will be a maxi-single, to be released in three types. All three types will feature the same two new songs, but will differ in bonus content. Type A will include a PV, while types B and C will include a second disc (titled EVOL and DOOLB, respectively) with remakes of old songs.

Each type will include an application form; the three forms can be redeemed for a PV making DVD. The privilege for buying all three types from the official web shop is an early ship date (2011-07-01), a signed cheki of the member of your choice, and a message CD.
