Mist of Rouge (ミスト オブ ルージュ) forms in Sannomiya (三宮)三宮 under Crime.
In later interviews, the band would list their start date as June 1999. However, this seems to instead be the date when the band transferred to Osaka (大阪) and changed its lineup.
V. Kaine (戒音) / G. Shizuna (静那) / B. eveki
First live is held.
The location of the band's first live is not 100% confirmed, as a flyer from the time only lists it as “神戸XXXX XXXX.” Luckily, the only livehouse matching that pattern is 神戸STAR CLUB, and the band frequently performed there later.
Second live is held. A demotape is freely distributed to attendees.
By this time, yuta joins as support drummer.
V. Kaine (戒音) / G. Shizuna (静那) / B. eveki / Support D. yuta
Despite the band retroactively listing June as their formation date, it actually seems to be when they shifted their activity from Kobe (神戸) to nearby Osaka (大阪).
The band's lineup somehow completely changed around the same time. Details are unclear, but the original 3 members (and support drummer) were somehow replaced by 4 completely different members.
It is confirmed that the original Mist of Rouge and the latter Mist of Rouge are the “same band,” as original member eveki would later re-join the newer version of the band. What's unclear is who “carried the Mist of Rouge name” to the new members.
To make matters more confusing, there exists a photoset featuring only Satsuki (皐姫) and bassist Tomo (朋), which implies (but doesn't confirm) that the band may have had a 2-person lineup at some point.
The band leaves Crime and moves to Osaka (大阪)大阪. The original 3 members are somehow replaced with 4 new members.
A flyer advertising October lives still lists drummer Dai (堕威) as a member, so he must have seceded shortly after its production.
Confusingly, second drummer Taka (躱迦) was listed in later interviews as an “original member,” but this seems to be incorrect.
Around this time, drummer Dai (堕威) secedes(?) and is replaced by Taka (躱迦).
V. Satsuki (皐姫) / G. Aki (阿綺) / B. Tomo (朋) / D. Taka (躱迦)
Mist of Rouge joins Matina.
Between the band's two demotapes, guitarist Aki (阿綺) secedes.
V. Satsuki (皐姫) / B. Tomo (朋) / D. Taka (躱迦)
Co-sponsored event with EzeːquL, se rèveiller ~Byakumu no Fuuin~ (se rèveiller ~白夢の封印~), is held. A sticker is distributed to attendees.
Sometime before the PRELUDE omnibus (possibly at their 2000-03-22 live?), ex-bassist eveki begins as support guitarist.
V. Satsuki (皐姫) / Support G. eveki / B. Tomo (朋) / D. Taka (躱迦)
At unknown times and in unknown order, but before November 2000: support guitarist eveki officially joins, second guitarist saki joins, and drummer Taka (躱迦) is replaced by SHION (シオン).
V. Satsuki (皐姫) / G. eveki / G. saki (沙綺) / B. Tomo (朋) / D. SHION (シオン)
By January 2001 at the latest, drummer SHION (シオン) changes his name to Shion (熾苑).
V. Satsuki (皐姫) / G. eveki / G. saki (沙綺) / B. Tomo (朋) / D. Shion (熾苑)
Guitarist saki (沙綺) secedes.
V. Satsuki (皐姫) / G. eveki / B. Tomo (朋) / D. Shion (熾苑)
First oneman, MOSAIC TRICKER (モザイクトリッカー), is held. A demotape is freely distributed to attendees. The band makes an important announcement.
Release celebration sponsored event, Moralist Universally, is held.
Release celebration oneman, Mikkai!? COMPA☆ (密会!?コンパ☆), is held. A pamphlet and video are freely distributed to attendees.
With Matina having closed, Mist of Rouge forms its own label, Center West Japan Entertainment.
However, the band continues to be supported/produced by UNDER CODE PRODUCTION, the successor to Matina.
Last oneman, Kizuna (絆), is held.
A special application could be mailed in prior to the live, and 30 lucky applicants received a formal invitation to the oneman as a reward. The names of all who attended were written in the credits of the band's last release, The fog has cleared up.
