Guitarist Kuruto (來堵) is exposed by tabloid Shūkan Bunshun (週刊文春) for alleged sexual assault of bassist Shohei (祥平)'s girlfriend back in July 2021.
The sexual assault case against Kuruto is dismissed, thus clearing all charges against him.

is there no vkei band that won any award until now? it's not fair that all music awards in Japan are given to jpop and j idol also (kpop)👎💔 the gazette is the only vkei band that have hundreds thousands of followers on ig, Japan should have a special award for vkei band😢 best vocal category, best dress, best style... come on uk,america please make award for vkei!!🙏

I myself am a Kpop Stan and a Visual Kei Fan, and I definetly believe that Vkei should get more recognition and love. We do need to remember that Vkei is a very small and niche scene in Japan, as well as internationally. I dont know what awards ur exactly talking about tho. Last but not least, Kpop aswell as Jpop carry more mainstream themes and genres that the general public enjoys, while Vkei is an alternative scene. A lot of people wouldnt enjoy Vkei which also contributes to the fact that its so unknown
